Physical Therapy Neck Treatment

Neck pain treatment is very important. And conservative treatment methods are a good start! When experiencing pain from a neck injury or a neck condition, physical therapy might be the first recommended neck treatment. Typically though, this will depend on the severity.

Now, during your physical therapy session, your licensed physical therapist will determine the right treatment plan for your neck pain. Our physical therapists at Spine & Orthopedic Center, offer equipment with comfortable space. Additionally, our physical therapists are highly trained. They go through vigorous schooling and training for top-notch treatment plans.

Our physical therapists will first go over your imaging, in addition to your physician’s notes. Then, your physical therapist will determine the best treatment plan for your injury/ condition. The physical therapist will customize your treatment plan. In many cases, this includes passive physical therapy. Furthermore, passive PT is considered manual physical therapy. Treatment includes ice packs, heat application, and electro-stimulation. So, he/she will now begin to incorporate active physical therapy into your sessions. Active physical therapy includes stretches and exercises for strengthening the area that is injured or worsening your condition.
